The Investment Office serves as a dedicated internal investment management service provider for the University System of Maryland Foundation, charged with overseeing the investment assets of the Foundation and its partners. The Investment Office works in conjunction with the Investment Committee to set asset allocation policy reflecting the return objective, risk tolerance and other constraints of its affiliate institutions. The Investment Office also works collaboratively with external strategic partners to monitor existing investments and source prospective investment opportunities.
