The University System of Maryland Foundation serves its constituencies in a variety of ways, offering grants administration, gift administration, payroll services, investment management, and fund accounting services.
We maintain and support a database of alumni and development records that nine of our institutions use, as well as provide campaign and strategic fundraising leadership support and professional development. Many of our activities are done in conjunction with the USM Office of Advancement and campus staff.
The USM Foundation also invests funds on behalf of five Maryland community colleges. Because the University System of Maryland is so varied, our roles are different at each campus.
