William B. Grant has been President and CEO of First United Corporation and First United Bank & Trust since 1996. Previously, he had served as Secretary of First United Corporation and Executive Vice President of First United Bank & Trust. He was employed by the firm before First National Bank of Oakland became First United National Bank & Trust in 1983.
Mr. Grant received his J.D. from Duquesne University and a B.A. from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Mr. Grant and his wife, Laurel, live in Oakland, Maryland with their daughter, Jennifer, and their son, Andrew.
