Roger W. Kent was the CFO for Citigroup’s North American Consumer Finance Business. This business has four main business lines – branch based lending, home equity (mortgage) lending, auto lending and insurance. This business has combined revenues in excess of $7 billion and earnings over $1.7 billion. If this was a stand-alone company, it would rank 63rd on the Fortune 500. Roger also had the responsibility of leading Chesapeake Appraisal and Settlement Services, Inc.
Mr. Kent joined Citigroup in 1985 and spent the last 23 years in all three of Citigroup’s Consumer franchises – Banking, Credit Cards and now Consumer Finance. Prior to Citigroup, Mr. Kent was with Hormel Foods Corporation. Mr. Kent holds a Master of Science degree from Johns Hopkins University and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Mr. Kent lives in the Baltimore, Maryland area with his wife and two children.
