Michael Guirguis, CFA, CAIA, is Head of Enterprise RIA at Allspring Global Investments.
In this role, Mike is responsible for setting Allspring’s distribution strategy in the RIA market as well as collaborating across Allspring to bring all of the firm’s capabilities to bear for this client segment.
Prior to his current role, Michael was a Relationship Manager on BlackRock’s RIA National Accounts team within the US Wealth Advisory Client Business. He was responsible for business development and relationship management with custodians, TAMPs, and large national Registered Investment Advisors. Michael was also on the Investment Solutions Group team responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Home Office Research at several client firms including Merrill Lynch, UBS, Raymond James, and Northern Trust, among others. He was also responsible for maintaining a relationship with Morningstar Research for their Equity and Multi-Asset products.
Michael joined Blackrock in 2006 as a sales support rep and spent five years as an Investment Management Associate on the US Retail sales desk where he assisted financial advisors with portfolio strategies for mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and alternative investments.
Mr. Guirguis earned BS degrees in Marketing and Logistics from the University of Maryland College Park and is a CFA Charterholder and a CAIA Charterholder. He lives on the Jersey Shore with his wife and 3 children.
