Linda Jones is the Managing Director of Healthcare for the Southeast Zone of Marsh, USA, and is based in Washington, DC. With over 30 years of healthcare and insurance industry experience, Linda brings a unique risk management approach to serving her clients. She has worked with healthcare organizations throughout the country, including health systems, senior care organizations, outpatient facilities, and large physician super-groups. In her role at Marsh, Linda works with brokerage and advisory staff and provides consultative services to healthcare clients on strategic planning for risk, claims administration, alternative risk financing, employee benefits, provider and employer stop loss coverage and risk mitigation techniques. Areas of specialization include managed care risks, captive insurance companies, claims analysis and reserve setting, and providing educational programs.
Linda has been a frequent guest lecturer at industry conferences internationally, and has been a guest lecturer at numerous colleges and universities on risk management and insurable risks.
Prior to joining Marsh, Linda held several executive positions, including Managing Director of Healthcare at RCM&D, COO of SISCO, a subsidiary of RCM&D, and risk management supervisor and claims consultant / risk management consultant at Princeton Insurance Company. Linda also held a teaching appointment at Johns Hopkins University in the School of Hygiene and Public Health, in the department of Health Policy and Management.
Linda earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland at College Park and a Master of Health Services Administration at George Washington University. She continued at the Insurance Institute of American where she received her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation.
