Jenna Buttler-Ray graduated from Towson University with a degree in Sociology in 1997. Her deep understanding of people and her passion for creating the perfect party led her to the world of event planning. After working for 8 years with a premier caterer in the Baltimore/D.C. area, Ms. Buttler-Ray joined the University System of Maryland team in 2006. As Director of Special Events Ms. Buttler-Ray is responsible for many of the fundraising and educational awareness events sponsored by the Foundation. From the guest lists, to the food, to the run of the program, Ms. Buttler-Ray leaves no detail unattended.
When she is not busy planning our events, she enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, especially at the beach.
