Francis Contino has been Managing Director at FAC&B, LLC since July 2008. Prior to FAC&B, Mr. Contino was a member of the Management Committee, Executive Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of McCormick & Company, Inc. from 1998 to 2008. He was Chief Financial Officer from 1998 through October 2007. In addition to his CFO responsibilities, Mr. Contino was Executive Vice President responsible for Supply Chain from 2002 to 2004 and responsible for Strategy from 2004 to 2008.
Prior to joining McCormick, Mr. Contino was Managing Partner of the Baltimore office of Ernst & Young. He has been a director of Mettler-Toledo International since October 2004 and serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee.
The Betty and Francis ’68 Contino Undergraduate Endowed Scholarship at the University of Maryland, College Park was established in December 2007 by Betty and Francis Anthony Contino ’68. Spendable Income from the Endowed Scholarship provides annual support to undergraduate students at the university who are enrolled in The Robert H. Smith School of Business and who have demonstrated financial need. Mr. Contino was honored in 1999 as a Distinguished Alumnus of The Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
