C. Emmerson Small, II

Emmerson Small is Managing Director-Investments and a Senior PIM Portfolio Manager at Wells Fargo Advisors.

He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Emmerson graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) with a B.A. in Economics in 1974. At UMBC, he played varsity basketball and, as the school’s first player to score 1,000 points, was inducted into the UMBC Athletic Hall of Fame. Emmerson also received an MBA in Finance from Loyola University (MD).

Emmerson holds a 6th Degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He resides in Lutherville, MD with his wife Edie and their dog Max.
