Emmerson Small is Managing Director-Investments and a Private Investment Management Senior Portfolio Manager at Wells Fargo Advisors.
He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Emmerson graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) with a B.A. in Economics in 1974. At UMBC, he played varsity basketball and, as the school’s first player to score 1,000 points, was inducted into the UMBC Athletic Hall of Fame. Emmerson also received an MBA in Finance from Loyola University (MD).
In his free time, Emmerson trains in and teaches Tae Kwon Do, in which he holds a 6th Degree black belt. He resides in Lutherville, MD with his wife Edie and son Stephen.
