Brian is a Senior Vice President on Atlantic Union Bank’s Mid-Corporate Banking team. Prior to joining Atlantic Union Bank, Brian held key leadership and relationship management roles at BB&T in commercial banking.
Brian is a 2005 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park from the Smith School of Business. Brian is a long-time active member of the Maryland alumni community having served on various boards in support of the university. Starting as a young alumni volunteer, he became a member of the Robert H Smith School’s Alumni Chapter Board in 2009 and served as Chair from 2011-2013, representing Smith on the University of Maryland Alumni Association Board of Governors. During this time, the Smith Alumni Board expanded to launch alumni clubs in New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and China. Subsequently, Brian became an at-large member and later advisory member of the UMD Board of Governors from 2013-2021, serving on the Finance Committee, Governance Committee, and chairing the Membership Pricing Task Force and Building Task Force.
Brian is part of a proud Terp family. He lives in Vienna, VA with his wife Lacey and two children.
