WASHBURN & McGOLDRICK is pleased to offer Qualifying Prospects Virtually, a 90-minute webinar for gift officers, designed to present best practices and to provide a practical exercise to build and update skills for work in a time of social distancing.
In the first half of the webinar, two WASHBURN & McGOLDRICK presenters will review three key elements of a good discovery/qualification meeting with a prospect, discuss how to understand wealth and philanthropy, and review the core techniques of “athletic” listening.
In the second half of the webinar, participants divide into three-person groups in private Zoom breakout rooms to practice their prospect qualification skills via role play. Our role-plays follow the course of a typical discovery/qualification meeting, with some twists and turns, to help participants apply the content from the first part of the webinar.
To conclude the webinar, the full group will reconvene with the trainers to “report out” on their role play activities, ask additional questions, and discuss how to apply their new skills on the job.
