Fear of not being good enough, fear of not belonging, fear of not having what you want available to you – these are three common beliefs that have the ability to influence every thought and action you take. Fear is a natural and normal human response, yet the vast majority of people have no idea how to articulate their fears and are thus unable to manage them. Understanding fear and how it manifests itself in your day-to-day is a critical part of your wellbeing, both personally and professionally. In this webinar, learn how to identify your fears, understand how they affect you, create a plan of action, and understand the difference between fear and anxiety.
Presented by Dr. Sam Fielding
Dr. Sam Fielding, having come from a family of physicians, was always interested in the concept of healing people, but her path wasn’t a straightforward one. While studying at the University of Pennsylvania, something compelled her to sign up for an Outward Bound program in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada, which led her to spend more than a decade traveling around the world as a competitive skier. She then made the decision to return to medicine and pursued her doctorate in acupuncture. Over time, she realized that despite the best thought out treatment plan, her patients were often only achieving temporary results. This realization, coupled with her own debilitating bout of postpartum depression, led Dr. Fielding to realize how mental health was often linked to physical symptoms. By exploring how her patients approach fear, anxiety, and other emotions, Dr. Fielding has helped numerous clients have a new perspective on life. This approach can immediately impact the way life feels, even though circumstances haven’t changed. Dr. Fielding’s clients include C-suite executives (often female) who are interested in achieving greater balance in their lives and strive to be the best that they can be both in the workplace and at home.
