Pefin, the world’s first artificial intelligence (AI) financial advisor, welcomed Viju Joseph as President and Chief Investment Officer to their management team in January 2018.
Previously, Viju was the Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Capital Services, a startup that provided hedge fund infrastructure and capital raising for early stage hedge funds. From 2006 to 2014, he was Chief Risk Officer at Eton Park Capital Management L.P., a global multi‐strategy, team‐oriented alternative investments firm with approximately $13B under management.
Prior to joining Eton Park, Mr. Joseph was an Executive Director and Co‐Head of Global Market Risk and Capital Management in Institutional Equity Division at Morgan Stanley. Prior to that, he established and managed the Macro Proprietary trading business and, before that, was responsible for market risk management in the Americas region for the Equity Division.
Mr. Joseph received his M.B.A. from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland in 1998 and his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1996.
