A rise in dementia among active donors is having an increasing impact on philanthropy. Utilizing case studies illustrating ethical issues in this interactive session, explore professional and institutional readiness with research insight from the University of Minnesota Duluth and from Alzheimer’s Association “early stage dementia” volunteers. Gain an understanding of dementia, including policies and procedures that institutions and charitable gift planners may consider.
