William T. “Bill” Wood founded Wood Law Offices, LLC, Rockville, Maryland, has been a practicing lawyer for over 35 years, is Past President of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, The Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, Super Lawyer's Magazine, Top Attorneys in Washington, D.C. by D.C. He has been a criminal prosecutor, Treasurer of the President’s Council of the American Trial Lawyers Association and State Delegate to ATLA. He was appointed in 1999 by Maryland’s Governor to the University System of Maryland Board of Regents and currently serves on the Board of Visitors of the University of Maryland University College, the Board of Trustees of the University of Maryland Baltimore Foundation, and the Board of Directors of the University System of Maryland Foundation. He has served sitting judges as Treasurer and courthouse candidates as Campaign Manager for many elections.
He earned a B.S. degree in Economics from the University of Maryland and a J.D. degree from the University of Maryland School of Law.
