Mr. Ferrara (’70 Zoology), president and CEO of ProVise Management Group, LLC, and his wife, Kim Fries Ferrara '70 Elementary Education, have named the Office of Scholarships. ProVise, founded in 1986, is a financial planning and investment management firm in Clearwater, Fla. In 2011, Wealth Manager Magazine ranked ProVise as the largest financial planning firm on Florida’s West Coast and the fifth largest in the state based on assets under management. For over 10 years, Mr. Ferrara hosted radio's "Talking Money..." and has authored several articles on various financial topics including living trusts, IRAs, college financial aid, asset protection, estate planning, and Section 529 plans. He has been quoted in numerous publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA TODAY, Bloomberg News, Investor’s Business Daily, St. Petersburg Times, Tampa Tribune, and Business Week. Mr. Ferrara was featured as one of America's best financial planners in the book Secrets of the Wealth Makers.
