Tonia Pankopf, managing partner of Pareto Advisors, LLC, has worked at leading Wall Street firms and is an experienced research analyst and investment manager who also serves on both corporate and nonprofit boards. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in government and politics from UMCP in 1989 with a citation in general honors, and has an M.S. in economics and international relations from the London School of Economics.

Ms. Pankopf began her career in investment research in 1995, working as an internet and software analyst at Citigroup Smith Barney. She was an investment banker based in London working in Deutsche Bank’s Technology Group in corporate finance and has followed the internet and software sectors as a senior analyst and vice president at both Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Merrill Lynch. In 2001, Ms. Pankopf moved to the buy-side and held positions at P.A.W. Capital Partners, L.P. and at Palladio Capital Management. She currently sits on the audit and valuation committees of Technology Investment Capital Corp. (TICC) as an independent director.
