Robert Milkovich is a Regional Director with Archon Group, L.P., an international full-service investment management company, wholly owned by Goldman Sachs. Archon is an investment arm of the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs supporting its real estate activities via private equity investing, advisory services and lending platforms. In addition, Mr. Milkovich is responsible for sourcing acquisition opportunities for the core and core-plus funds being developed through the Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs. Since joining Archon in 2004, Mr. Milkovich, based in Washington, DC, has lead the investment and asset management activities in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern parts of the United States. The current portfolio includes direct value-add to opportunistic investments, oversight of joint-venture activities and advising on the non-performing loan book.

Prior to joining Archon, Mr. Milkovich was a Managing Director with CarrAmerica Realty Corporation, a Real Estate Investment Trust traded on the NYSE. Primary responsibilities included overseeing portfolio investments, development activities, and asset management and acquisition efforts in Washington, DC, Denver, Colorado, Salt Lake City, Utah and Phoenix, Arizona. He served on CarrAmerica’s Operating Committee and Investment Committee. Moreover, he assisted in managing the joint-venture relationships for CarrAmerica.

Mr. Milkovich attended the University of Maryland on a full scholarship and graduated with a B. S. in Business Administration. In 2010, Mr. Milkovich completed the Real Estate Executive Seminar: Capital Markets, Innovative Ventures, and Business Strategy course at Harvard Business School.

Mr. Milkovich is a Director on the Board of the University System of Maryland Foundation overseeing the real estate investment activities. The Foundation administers and manages funds for the benefit of institutions and foundations affiliated with the University System of Maryland. Mr. Milkovich is a member of the Economic Club of Washington, DC, the Urban Land Institute’s Office Development Counsel and is the past President of The Real Estate Group in Washington, DC.
