Michael E. Meegan is a Certified Public Accountant and co-founder of Watkins, Meegan, Drury & Company, LLC (WMD&Co.), one of the Metropolitan Washington, DC area’s leading accounting firms. He is the Member in charge of the firm’s Northern Virginia practice office. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the practice, Mr. Meegan serves as one of the firm’s most experienced account executives and business team leaders, advising clients throughout the Washington metropolitan area. He has a diverse business background, including business advisory services, accounting, and auditing. Mr. Meegan has extensive industry expertise in high technology and government contracting. He co-founded WMD&Co. in 1975 and has contributed significantly to the firm’s organizational growth. This knowledge and experience has been instrumental to his involvement in the growth and expansion into the Northern Virginia marketplace. Mr. Meegan is an active participant in business community associations and professional societies, including being a member of the Board of Directors of Tyson’s Transportation Association, Inc. His credentials include a bachelor of science degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
