UM Graduate Programs Receive Top Rankings

The University of Maryland's iSchool, the College of Information Studies, assumes a Top 10 ranking in the latest U.S. News & World Report Graduate School Rankings, with counseling/personnel, in the College of Education, and criminology, in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, maintaining their perennial No. 1 national rankings.

The Clark School of Engineering (No. 17) and the College of Behavioral & Social Sciences' sociology program (No. 20) ranked in the Top 20. (The Clark School's aerospace engineering program was No. 9.) The College of Education ranked 24th.

The Department of Psychology, overall, made the biggest jump of any program, going from No. 55, in 2006, the last time psychology was ranked, to No. 40 this year.
