Eligibility

The design contest is open to students, faculty, and staff within the University System of Maryland, ages 18 and over. Submissions must be received by 11:59pm, September 21, 2012.

Submission Criteria

Digital submissions only. Cover will be 8.5x11” and winning artwork will be featured on the cover. All entries should be submitted in the largest, highest quality version possible (300 dpi or higher) in jpeg format only to usmf-art@usmd.edu. Winner’s work may be professionally photographed by USMF for final production. All work must be original. Each entry must be original in concept, design and execution and not violate any U.S. copyright laws.

Competition and Notification

Winner(s) will be selected by Friday, September 28th, 2012.

Prizes:

$600, $350 and $250 prizes will be awarded to the top competition winners. Winners will be featured in the University System of Maryland Foundation’s 2012 Annual Report. The University System of Maryland Foundation will own all rights to the artwork for future use. Should no appropriate designs be submitted, we reserve the right to not choose a winner.
