National recognition for USM Foundation’s Kevin Dalmut
Dear Board members and colleagues,
I am thrilled to share great news about Kevin Dalmut, our senior investment analyst at the Foundation. Kevin was recently named on the CIO “Forty Under (Mostly) Forty” list in Asset International CIO Magazine, a widely read and respected publication for institutional investors. This list spotlights the brightest stars in the pension and nonprofit investment management world. The link to the article can be found here: http://www.ai-cio.com/datasurvey.aspx?id=4438; Kevin’s profile can be found here: http://www.ai-cio.com/datasurvey.aspx?id=4438&page=7.
Kevin’s group, dubbed the Generation Y group, is described as the “prodigies of the asset owner universe,” and the authors of this report predict that one member of the group will manage one of the top 10 funds in the world in under 15 years. Those of us who know Kevin can easily imagine him in this role—but we’d rather imagine him growing our endowment for many years to come.
Over the past year, I have come to know Kevin as one of the hardest-working, diligent, and intelligent young professionals I’ve ever met. To say he has done some heavy lifting in the last year is a vast understatement. I hope you will join me in congratulating Kevin for his well-deserved honor.
Sincerely yours,
Leonard R. Raley
