Eric E. McLauchlin is a shareholder of Gessner, Snee, Mahoney & Lutche, P.A. He graduated summa cum laude from Salisbury University and is an honors graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law.
Prior to joining the firm in 1996, McLauchlin served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Stephen M. Waldron in the Circuit Court for Harford County. McLauchlin assists clients regularly in business matters, contracts, real estate development, estate planning, and employment law matters.
As a complement to the business services he provides, McLauchlin routinely advises individuals, families and business owners on estate planning issues, including wills, trust planning, wealth preservation, planning for succession management and estate administration. He dedicates considerable time to civic, charitable and community activities.
McLauchlin was appointed to and currently serves as the Chair of the Harford County Economic Development Advisory Board (EDAB) where he also serves as Chair of the Land Use Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Harford County Chamber of Commerce. McLauchlin is a member and has served as President of the Salisbury University Alumni Board.
He is a past Vice President and Board Member of the Homeless Persons Representation Project and is a graduate and former Board Member of the Harford Leadership Academy. McLauchlin and his wife, Tracey, reside in Fallston with their two daughters.
