Frostburg State University Launches $15 Million Campaign
Frostburg State University kicked off its $15 million Staking Our Claim campaign with a leadership donor gala on October 4. The gala thanked those who have helped the FSU Foundation Inc. surpass the halfway point before the launch of the campaign’s public phase. Harking back to the University’s origins when the local community, including cash-strapped coal miners, scraped together the money to make State Normal School No. 2 at Frostburg a reality, the Staking Our Claim campaign focuses on three themes: Student Enrichment, Academic Enrichment and Regional and Cultural Enrichment.
