Tom Gilbert

Chief Financial Officer

Gilbert is Chief Financial Officer of the USM Foundation. Prior to the USM Foundation, Tom served as the lead senior manager for some of the largest asset management clients at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and in the Baltimore area. He was responsible for the day-to-day management of Baltimore-based teams, as well as the coordination of PwC’s service delivery across a global team of approximately 200 members - including teams in Dublin, Edinburgh, London, Los Angeles, Melbourne, New York, Sydney, and Tokyo. Gilbert has a wide range of experiences in the asset management industry in areas such as not-for-profit endowments, investment valuation, business combinations, impairment analyses, hedge funds, fund-of-fund investment products, private equity funds, public and private investment advisers, registered mutual funds, and ETFs. Additionally, Gilbert is well-versed in developments in digital technology used to transform the finance function and business operations. He also has a strong background in regulatory issues and evolving business trends across the asset management landscape.
