Walter R. Fatzinger, Jr.

Walter R. Fatzinger is Vice Chairman of ASB Capital Management, Inc. where he is responsible for strategic management. Prior to joining ASB Capital Management in February of 1999, Mr. Fatzinger served as President of First National Bank of Maryland’s Greater Washington Region and Executive Vice President of First National’s Institutional Bank beginning in 1994. In that role, he served as Chairman of Allied Investment Advisors, Inc., First National’s investment subsidiary. Before joining First National, he was with American Security Bank, N.A. for 15 years.

In 1991, he was appointed President of American Security Trust Company (an affiliate of American Security Bancorp). Mr. Fatzinger was Executive Vice President and Senior Trust Officer of American Security Bank from 1980 through 1988. For the period 1971 to 1980, he was Senior Vice President and Trust Officer of First National Bank of Maryland. He was a Trust Officer of American Security Bank from 1965 to 1971.

Mr. Fatzinger received a B.A. degree in Mathematical Statistics in 1965 from George Washington University and a J.D. degree in 1970 from American University. Mr. Fatzinger is Chair Emeritus of the University System of Maryland Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors.
