Giving is the Best Communication

As advancement professionals and curators of with hundreds of millions of dollars entrusted to us, one might say we more than anyone understand the importance of giving. We work diligently to support our institutions as they pursue gifts, develop relationships, honor donors, provide scholarships, and more. We do so through professional development training opportunities, staff and board member retreats, and simply by generating conversations and connecting people who might not otherwise have had an opportunity to meet. 

Giving at the level we've seen during the years of our Federated Capital Campaign has been remarkable and one phenomenal story after another. But sometimes, it would do us well to remember how a little gift can make all the difference in the world. 

The Thai telecommunications conglomerate True is getting rave reviews worldwide for its latest spot, "Giving," which tells the story of a man unexpectedly rewarded for a lifetime of good deeds he performed without expecting anything in return.
