Welcome to the new USM Foundation website!

It has been a long time coming, and we are so pleased to be able to share the rewards of our hard work with you.

We had a dedicated team of staff members who collaborated to ensure this site had everything we wanted and everything our users had been asking for over the last few years. We also had a highly skilled team of web designers at Fastspot working with us to execute our vision and make it come live. We are so thrilled with the results and hope you are too.

Some of the features we wanted to emphasize in the building of a new site were to give our board members and campus administrators more flexibility in using the site. Our board members are now able to access their meeting materials and see upcoming board meetings directly through their homepage once logged in to the site. They can also update their own profiles to more accurately reflect the accolades and accomplishments taking place in their lives. Making the Annual Report a Visual Story with Instagram

As we begin to start production on our 2013 Annual Report, it is certainly worth looking at how other organizations have chosen to share their stories of the previous year. The Calgary Zoo took an innovative approach with their annual report and used Instagram to present a visual story line of the zoo's past year, including its highlights and even its financial reports.

USM Foundation Announces its 2012 Art Contest Winners!

The University System of Maryland Foundation decided to highlight the partnership between the institutions within the University System of Maryland (USM) and the Foundation by way of an art contest to strengthen the connection between the Foundation and the students, faculty, and staff we ultimately serve.
