Virginia (Ginger) Whelley

Assistant Comptroller

Ginger started at the USM Foundation in 2003. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Roles & Responsibilities

As the Assistant Comptroller, Ginger handles stock gifts; wire transfers into the Foundation; and manages the Custody accounts. She also handles all transactions originating in the Operating and Endowment investment pools, and she reconciles these accounts.
