We are very sad to share news that Emanuel Fthenakis (Manny, as we affectionately knew him), one of our honorary directors, passed away on April 3rd. Manny joined the Foundation in 1989 and served on the Audit Committee during his tenure. He became an honorary director in 1998 and was a faithful participant at Foundation board meetings. We will miss Manny very much.

USM Foundation Advocacy Committee Members Visit Annapolis to Support the USM's Budget and Priorities

On Tuesday, February 25th, several of our USM Foundation Advocacy Committee members visited Annapolis with USM Vice Chancellor for Government Relations, P.J. Hogan. They met with state legislators to discuss the USM's budget and priorities to help advance the System's goals set in its strategic plan. To those of you that visited on our behalf, thank you again!
