Brian DeFilippis VP of University Advancement at Towson

Brian DeFilippis is Towson University's new vice president of University Advancement and executive vice president of the Towson University Foundation. Brian comes to TU from the University of Maryland School of Medicine where he served as associate dean for development and its chief development officer.


UMB School of Nursing receives $2 million gift

UMB's School of Nursing Received a $2 million gift from the Bill and Joanne Conways' Bedford Falls Foundation. The gift will help expand the Family Nurse Practitioner program from Baltimore to the Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville.


USG and MC awarded a $85,500 scholarship fund

The Universities at Shady Grove and Montgomery College have been awarded a $85,500 scholarship fund from the Harvey-Danner Family to support students in the Achieving Collegiate Excellence and Success (ACES) program. The scholarships will be awarded to full-time students in the ACES program.
